Gemstone
She is a precious gem,
Her pearlescent face is glowing,
Her eyes shine with sapphires and emeralds,
Her garnet lips glisten scarlet,
As the flame of rubies floods her cheeks,
Her eyelashes flutter onyx,
As her diamond tears stream down her cold skin,
She brushes away strands of opal hair,
Shivering and unfeeling,
Sinking under pressure,
She is a precious gem,
glowing amidst the coal streaked world,
Rough and jagged,
From years of growing,
She can be polished,
Cut,
And shaped,
But most beautiful in her raw state
